During this two-day meeting, 2016 Knowles Teaching Fellows will focus on aspects of their teaching practice that maximize students’ opportunities to learn. Fellows will have the opportunity to learn about the Question Formulation Technique. This strategy helps students learn how to produce their own questions, improve them, and strategize on how to use them. In addition, this technique provides an additional way for Fellows to consider the opportunities they are developing for students to learn.

Fellows will also analyze data they brought with them around a norm that they introduced in their classroom as a way of connecting their classroom inquiries with equitable teaching practices.
